The Lord’s Prayer is a prayer the Lord Jesus taught

His disciples in Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4. Matthew 6:9-13 says, “This, then, is how you should pray: '

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'“ the evil one is Satan and those who He used. We must pray to be  deliver from I’m. Who goes to and foe seeking who he can devour. He only flees  when He hear Jesus name. Imagine those who don’t know Him. There not protected, by him. He sendsHi angels to protect us and his Spirit protects us

Many people misunderstand the Lord’s Prayer to be a prayer we are supposed to recite word for word. It s to keep us safe rom harm and destruction.

Some people treat the Lord’s Prayer as a magic formula, as if the words themselves have some specific power or influence with God.

If the Spirit of God is not in the prayer it has no power.

The Bible teaches the opposite. God is far more interested in our hearts when we pray than He is in our words.

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.

Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you in public.

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.

For they think that they will be heard for their many words” (Matthew 6:6-7).

In prayer, we are to pour out our hearts to God (Philippians 4:6-7), not simply recite memorized words to God.

The Lord’s Prayer should be understood as an example, a pattern, of how to pray and how we ought to live.

It gives us the “ingredients” that should go into prayer. Here is how it breaks down.

Our Father in heaven” is teaching us whom to address our prayers to the Father.

Hallowed be your name” is telling us to worship God, and to praise Him for who He is.

The phrase “your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” is a reminder to us that we are to pray for God’s plan in our lives and the world, not our own plan.

We are to pray for God’s will to be done, not for our desires. But His desires for our life.

We are encouraged to ask God for the things we need in “give us today our daily bread.”

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” reminds us to confess our sins to God and to turn from them, and also to forgive others as God has forgiven us.

The conclusion of the Lord’s Prayer, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” is a plea for help in achieving victory over sin and a request for protection from the attacks of the devil this  is a keen verse.

The devil only flees when the name of Jesus is apply to our life.

So, again, the Lord’s Prayer is not a prayer we are to memorize and recite back to God.

If your heart is not in it meaningless words.

Remember, in prayer, God is far more interested in our communicating with Him and speaking from our hearts than He is in the specific words we use. Philippians 4:6-7 declares, “

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Thy will be done. Lords Prayer.Testament; the disposition of a mans estate, is depends to take effect after his death.

Wills are written, or nuncupative, that is, verbal. Go, then, the guilty at thy wil. In addition to the general discussion under GUILT several

New Testament passages demand special notice because the word "guilty" is not used in the principal sense of blameworthy, but with one of the two lesser meanings noted above which go to make up the complete idea.

 King James Version renders "guilty

Matthew 26:66 the King James Version, Jesus' foes declare he is "guilty of death" (enochos, "liable to").

Here "guilty" simply means the one who is legally held, and the reference is not to the blame but to the consequence.

Guilty is a  Criminality; that state of a moral agent which results from his actual commission of a crime or offense, knowing it to be a crime, or violation of law.

To constitute guilt there must be a moral agent enjoying freedom of will, and capable of distinguishing between right and wrong, and a wilful or intentional violation of a known law, or rule of duty.

The guilt of a person exists, as soon as the crime is committed; but to evince it to others, it must be proved by confession, or conviction in due course of law. Guilt renders a person a debtor to the law, as it binds him to pay a penalty in money or suffering.

Guilt therefore implies both criminality and liableness to punishment.

Guilt may proceed either from a positive act or breach of law, or from voluntary neglect of known duty.

Criminality in a political or civil view; exposure to forfeiture or other to be guilty.

This is a true use of the word quilts  in a legal sense. It does not correspond with our higher usage, and so we have it in the Revised Version (worthy of death."

So in Romans 3:19, "guilty" is changed to "under the judgment," and in Matthew 23:18, to "debtor."

In James 2:10 and 1 Corinthians 11:27, the word "guilty" is also used in the lesser or more primitive sense, as involving blame but as involving the sinner's authorship or responsibility him being found quilts

To censure; to express disapprobation of; to find fault with; opposed to praise or commend, and applicable most properly to persons, but applied also to things.

I withstood him, because he was to be blamed.

Gal.2.

I must blame your conduct; or I must blame you for neglecting business. Legitimately, it cannot be followed by of.

To bring reproach upon; to blemish; to injure. See Blemish.

She had blamed her noble blood.

BLAME, n. Censure; reprehension; imputation of a fault; disapprobation; an expression of disapprobation for something deemed to be wrong.

Let me bear the blame forever. Gen.43.Fault; crime; sin; that which is deserving of censure or disapprobation.

That we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Eph.i.

Hurt; injury.

And glancing down his shield, from blame him fairly blest.

The sense of this word, as used by Spenser, proves that it is a derivative from the root of blemish.

To blame, is to blame, signifies blamable, to be blamed.

Blame is not strictly a charge or accusation of a fault; but it implies an opinion in the censuring party, that the person censured is faulty. Blame is the act or expression of disapprobation for what is supposed to be wrong.

This is the first element suggested in the definition of guilt given above, just as the preceding passages illustrate.

The man who stumbles in one point is "guilty" of the whole law. James does not refer here to the degree of blameworthiness. "

Guilty of" means transgressor of, and he has transgressed the whole because the law is one.

Corinthians 11:27, those "guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord" are those who have transgressed in the matter of the body and the blood of the Lord

To chasten someone is to correct him or her, often with the use of some pretty steep punishment. Chasten can also mean "to restrain." . Chasten is related to the word chastise, meaning "to punish severely."

Both words can be traced back to the Latin root castus, meaning "morally pure."

Will is used as an auxiliary verb, and a sign of the future tense. It has different signification in different persons.

I will go, is a present promise to go; and with an emphasis on will, it expresses determination.

Thou wilt go, you will go, express foretelling; simply stating an event that is to come.

He will go, is also a foretelling. The use of will in the plural, is the same. We will, promises; ye will, they will, foretell.

Behold the lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world. John 1.  of the Lamb

who was slain.

SLAY, v.t. pret. slew; pp. slain. The proper sense is to strike, and as beating was an early mode of killing, this word, like smite, came to signify to kill. It seems to be formed on the root of lay; as we say to lay on To kill; to put to death by a weapon or by violence. We say, he slew a man with a sword, with a stone, or with a club, or with other arms; but we never say, the serif slays a malefactor with a halter, or a man is slain on the gallows or by poison. So the slay retains something of its primitive sense of striking or beating. It is particularly applied to killing in battle, but is properly applied also to the killing of a individual man or beast.

To destroy.: to kill violently, wantonly, or in great numbers;  broadly  : to strike down : kill

Matthew Henry's Commentary

23:8-12 Job knew that the Lord was every where present; but his mind was in such confusion, that he could get no fixed view of God's merciful presence, so as to find comfort by spreading his case before him. His views were all gloomy. God seemed to stand at a distance, and frown upon him. Yet Job expressed his assurance that he should be brought forth, tried, and approved, for he had obeyed the precepts of God. He had relished and delighted in the truths and commandments of God. Here we should notice that Job justified himself rather than God, or in opposition to him, ch. 32:2. Job might feel that he was clear from the charges of his friends, but boldly to assert that, though visited by the hand of God, it was not a chastisement of sin, was his error. And he is guilty of a second, when he denies that there are dealings of Providence with men in this present life, wherein the injured find redress, and the evil are visited for their sins.

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown

The omniscient One already knoweth the way in me (my inward principles: His outward way or course of acts is mentioned in Job 23:11. So in me, Job 4:21); though for some inscrutable cause He as yet hides Himself (Job 23:8, 9).
